Squrimy Worm Salad

I have a friend who has a food blog and always has fun ideas for Halloween meals. When I saw this one I knew the boys would love it. Thanks Amber. For the boys I basically just made pasta with olives(bugs) and hotdogs(worms),

Gross! I was telling my friend about it and she asked if it looked good. My answer was if you are a three and a seven year old boy it sure did!

Justin's Birthday Lunch with Jane

Justin has a friend named Jane. He is exactly two weeks older than her. He informed me this summer that Jane is his girlfriend and that he is going to marry her when he is four.  Jane couldn't come to her birthday party because her sister was getting baptized at the same time. He was pretty disappointed so we had a lunch date for them. We went to Friendly's (his favourite place). We went to her place to pick her up and then we went.

Sports Squirts

Justin has been taking a sports class on Monday afternoons for three to five year olds. When the class started he wasn't quite three but that didn't matter to him. He LOVES it. This week they played hockey. He wasn't so sure about it at first but once he got into it he loved it.

Story-time with Sister Smith

A few weeks ago Sister Smith came to playgroup and read halloween stories to the kids. They loved it. This is the first time I have taken Justin for this because usually two year old boy and sitting quietly do not go together but he did great. He told me now that he is three he can sit still and listen at the same time.
